NC Miata to ford 8.8 conversion CV axles are to be used in conjunction with our differential conversion kit.

These axles are the end-all be-all solution for utmost performance and long term serviceability.

· Half the price of competitors inferior axles.

· Inner and outer axle stubs are forged from 4340 steel followed by heat treatment and shot peening. This combination yields the utmost strength and reliability.

· Axle stubs are bolted via 12.9 grade zinc plated bolts to Porsche 930 CV joints.

· Porsche 930 CV joints are well known in the motorsport realm for their high strength and modularity. If a CV failure were to occur, simply unbolt the joint and replace with a new unit. No need to purchase an entire new axle assembly, simply replace the joint and get back to racing.

· This modular design also allows for quick serviceability. The CV shafts can be unbolted and removed from the vehicle, along with the differential assembly, without the need to break down the suspension. This is a major advantage for potential track-side repairs.

· Axle shafts are machined from 4340 with roll formed splines for utmost strength.

· The pair of axle shafts come complete with new axle nuts and inner retaining clips.

· NOTE- If using the OEM speedometer or ABS, you will need to remove the wheel sensor tone wheels from the original axles and install onto the new units. Simply tap the tone wheels off the axles with a soft hammer or a punch and reinstall onto the new CV axles.

· NOTE- RX8 rear spindles, wheel bearings, and hubs must be installed to utilize these axles in the NC chassis. The conversion is direct bolt in.

It’s safe to assume these are “1000 hp axles” based on competitors claims which use inferior material selection and processes. However, there are far too many variables to place such claims on a driveline component.
